We had an exciting Saturday – a tornado warning! My family and I had gone to a friend’s graduation party … right before we arrived, the tornado alarms went off! So we hurried up, parked the car, and went inside the church (where the party was being held). Everyone was hunkered down in the stairwells, but curiosity got the best of some of us, who came back up to watch the storm and see the hail (we had a cool hailstorm, too).
Then another iphone-loving parent at the party pointed out the funnel cloud passing by, and we both started taking photos and videos!
So … this video shows the funnel cloud. You can also hear the tornado sirens going off – just another normal spring day in Kansas
